Our Mid-Life Crisis Through Europe

Warsaw - Part II

On our second full day in Warsaw, we planned on meeting with Kasia (Luke's cousin) for dinner.  We set out to explore the city and see what we would find.  Plus we were able to get more familiar with the public transportation system, which can be quite confusing between the buses, trams and metro train, even when you have the map!

There are many memorials similar to this around the city.  They are to remember  events that happened during the war.

Once we figured out how to get to where we would be meeting Kasia (and only by asking directions), we arrived early to explore what was around her area.  We were able to find an interesting museum/park, where were able to enjoy some food that we bought at the market.  The museum had random sculptures throughout the garden.

Once we met up with Kasia, we went and grabbed a bite to eat and chat before she was heading out to Zakopane.
